Growing up on Bugs Bunny, Walt Disney, and The Muppets, I couldn't help wanting to be an artist. In addition to being an art director full time, I work as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, working on a wide variety of projects in different styles for various markets, including CDs, greeting cards, books, toys, advertising, editorial, promotion, catalogs, and product concepts. I have completed CD package design and illustration for a wide variety of artists, including Paul McCartney and Billy Joel thanks to my job at Disc Makers.
Most of my illustration and design work combines traditionally rendered pencil sketches with "paint" in Photoshop. It's a fairly quick and fun way of working which has really allowed me to grow as an artist over the years.
I have had the honor of exhibiting my work with the Society of Illustrators, Haviland-Strickland Gallery, Rosenwald-Wolfe Gallery and the Franklin Institute Science Museum in years past and am currently having a great time producing and selling work through my etsy shop.
I live with my illustrator husband, Matt Stewart and cats Gidget and Georgie, in southern New Jersey just a hop skip and jump from Philadelphia.
